Welcome to beautiful Norfolk, and in particular, the Sandringham Estate, where we spent our 4 nights with John's brother and his wife, who joined us for our first overnight guests in Maurice.
We were initially a little worried how we would all cope in the motorhome but soon realised we needn't worry. There was more than enough seating for everybody to get comfortable. The lounge made up in to a very comfortable and spacious bedroom in the evening.
Our ensuite bedroom allowed us enough space to shower and get dressed, so it was absolutely fine.
And having Martin's car allowed us to visit much more of the locality than would be possible if we just had bikes or walked.

Visiting a nature reserve run by volunteers. What a gorgeous spot. A side to Norfolk I never knew existed

Maurice basking in the morning light as John and his brother dismantle the awning ( or conservatory as I named it!)

Cheese and wine evening courtesy of Martin and Liz who supplied these lovely cheeses from Somerset

Twitching.. not much to see here!

Liz trying to steal a wild flower

Bright skies! The weather was.. hmm, changeable. A lot of rain, not particularly cold, but wet!

Strictly Come Dancing and wine. Perfect evening!

Beautiful countryside. Norfolk is so pretty!
We visited alot of the coastal towns and villages during our stay and I must say that I much prefer the countryside and villages in Norfolk to the coastal towns. Many were very deprived and rather run down in my opinion, in a way which we don't really see on the South Coast.
Lots of shops which are empty, boarded up and closed many years ago, in a state of disrepair. The coastal towns very very unloved and downmarket unfortunately. But the sandy beaches were beautiful
