Battle Weekend

Well, another chance for us to visit one of our favourite sites close by.
As you probably know, by now, Battle is a bolt hole for us. The proximity to home and the storage site for Maurice means it is an easy option for us to get away.
These trips to Battle with Maurice also allow us to carry out updates and maintenance.
DIY projects in the past have included installing new LED lighting in our previous motorhome. Not as easy as we thought and very messy. Every locker needed unloading and repacking to allow John access to the trim.
This weekend, however, was free of any such task and we were able to make the most of what the area has to offer. It is perfectly situated between Bexhill, Hastings, Eastbourne and ofcourse, Battle. It is where the Sussex and Kent weald joins and is very pretty.
Enjoy the pictures

We found a new Italian in Bexhill- the wood fired pizzas were amazing!

View towards St Leonards. You can see the train line on the left hand side and M&S

It's that time of the day again- wine o'clock!

The view from our pitch

Gorgeous sausage sandwiches for breakfast, sat outside in the sunshine

Maurice also received a great wash and polish!
