Hello New Forest!

What can be better than spending a long weekend with great friends? Not much else, in my book anyway.

On this trip we had taken our car along as the weather forecast for the weekend was pretty bad, although we did get vast patches of sunshine and nice weather. It's a Bank Holiday, it literally is the law that the weather is going to be a little damp!

We hosted on the first evening- a giant pasta bake with fresh vegetables, herb and garlic roast chicken, stuffed Italian pasta etc. Something we could all just dig in to. A rather boozy evening as we managed to get through quite a few bottles of alcohol!

We visited the pleasant town of Christchurch, where we enjoyed a nice lunch at the Boathouse restaurant. A nice mooch around the town, some shopping and then we headed home to chill out with a book. We managed a few minutes out in the sun before it eventually turned to rain.
