Les aventures d'Audrey - de mon point de vue

Hello all, Salut, ¡Hola!

I've been in the white box now three and a half months so I thought I'd share some of my wisdom gained from travelling with Cookie and Who. I've added pictures as they speak louder than words and my time allowance on the laptop is limited - I do most of this at night whilst they are asleep.

I'm resigned to the fact that I'm frequently ensconced in the black carrier, however I've made it known that I prefer to travel in Cookie's lap in the carrier rather than the sofa behind the seat that Who sits in when we are travelling. I make my needs know by gently scratching the front of the carrier. This tends to get Cookie's attention and he comes and gets me. I either settle down and nod off or watch Who, he sits behind a big round thing which he twists and turns from time to time.

The humans have responded well to training. When I want some special food I sit on the bedroom step and cry 'Food'. This has the desired effect and very quickly I have a grey saucer with delicious Sheba (my favourite treat) in front of me. That's not to say there isn't food available but there's only so much kibble a girl can take!

The outside is all very interesting from my vantage point sat on the back of either sofa or on their bed. When it was really hot the windows were open but a mesh blind was drawn down to stop pesky flies and bugs getting in. I thought this was very thoughtful of them to protect me like this. I've added some photos of my views.

I had to take a tough stand with Who. I'm sure he wasn't trying to poison me but my usual lovely biscuits started to taste a bit funny. So much so I stopped eating them. I was a bit hungry and let the staff know in my usual vocal way which did mean I got some more Sheba but Who kept saying 'eat your biscuits!' Now not being one to listen to others conversations my ears pricked up when Who said 'Do you think she (I'm sure he meant me) isn't eating the biscuits because the car shampoo might have leaked into them. I'll try a new bag.' I was starving and when the new biscuits were in my bowl I couldn't get enough of them. I think he was remorseful when he realised the error of his ways. Staff eh you just can't get the calibre nowadays.

The ferry is quite interesting. The staff leave me to wander around for an hour or so and then come back. Whilst they are away there's a bit of clanking going on and the flat on wheels moves a bit from side to side. Not quite like being on the road but with a gentle wobble. When I look out the window it seems we are in a traffic jam in a tunnel, we seem to be surrounded by lots of cars, vans and lorries. I'm always glad when they come back 'cos it all seems a bit weird.

After a lovely time in the sunshine the humans took me back to cold and cloudy days, we were back at the farm. I was looking forward to a bit of a rest from all this travelling but then off we go again visiting other humans. I did notice that we were driving on the other side of the road again - why is that?

Anyway enough of my ramblings save to say we've had another ferry and are driving on the other side of the road again. I'm sure we'll have some more adventures so I'll keep you updated as we go along.
